The Vesper Avenue Mission

I created Vesper Avenue as an astrology space that feels fresh, relatable, and a little bit stylish.

Who It’s For

For those of us who pride ourselves on being practical, but still wonder if being a Libra is why we say “I don’t care, you pick,” and then hate every single option.

Or if it’s our Pisces energy that makes us say we’re fine, then spend two hours staring at the moon while looping our favorite 8th grade angst anthem.

A note from the founder

Hey, I’m Lauren, a New York Times bestselling romance author turned astrology creator, curator and enthusiast.

For most of my life, my knowledge of astrology started and ended with: “I was born in April, so... Aries?” But I stumbled into the world of astrology while researching my novel Miranda in Retrograde. After I turned in the book, nobody was more surprised than me to realize that my longtime love of the romance genre had been replaced by an insatiable interest in astrology.

I founded Vesper Avenue in 2025 to be the type of resource I wish I’d had when I started learning astrology: simplified, stylish, and a little aspirational.

About the Name

Vesper is Latin for Venus at twilight. Also, it’s one of my favorite cocktails.

Avenue is a nod at Manhattan’s iconic street grid.

Plus, the URL and Pinterest handle were available, so here we are.

So Below

There’s a popular astrology phrase: “As above, so below.” What happens in the stars affects us down here.

Only, most astrology stays focused on the above—stars, planets, and celestial everything.

Vesper Avenue is all about the below—what astrology has to say about your morning coffee, your afternoon naps, and the days when your ponytail looks inexplicably fantastic.

Here, that means language that’s specific and sharp. Imagery that’s less night-sky iPhone wallpaper, more dream-life mood board.
